| Job Description |
The successful candidate will be in the following affiliations. (Research) Institute of Innovative Research Primary: Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology Secondary: Laboratory for Materials and Structures (Education) School of Environment and Society, Department of Architecture and Building Engineering The successful candidate will be required to engage in research, education, and supervision of graduate and undergraduate students in English and Japanese, and in operation and safety management of structural laboratories. |
| Qualifications | Applicants should hold a doctoral degree or equivalent in structural engineering on the starting date, and demonstrate a distinguished academic career, including proof of original research in the structural engineering of buildings. Teaching duties are likely to comprise the full range of structural engineering of buildings. Candidates must be highly motivated, willing to learn, and demonstrate initiative in assigned tasks. The principal languages of instruction are both Japanese and English. |
