 Area of Specialization Design and development of novel functional materials.
Desirable candidates would have following skills and spirits.
  • Person who has own research policy and principle to design and develop novel materials and is capable of developing and synthesizing those materials.
  • Person who actively organize interdisciplinary research collaboration including theoretical physics/computational materials science, and different materials systems & research fields.
 Job Description    The successful candidate will be required to conduct following works and activities.
  • Conduct the research described in ‘Area of Specialization’
  • Contribute to management issues for Tokyo Institute of Technology, Institute of Innovative Research, and Laboratory for Materials and Structures.
  • For education, give classes for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students for their research.
 Research group The successful candidate is expected to conduct research together with an assistant professor who is planned to be selected by another selection committee in future.
