 Job Description
  • Research on nanomaterial and functions that analyze the physical properties of functional nanomaterials and create new functions by using nanoscale fabrication techniques.
  • The successful candidate will possess vitality, flexibility, and energy, and will have a background in materials, chemistry, physics, or electronics, as well as the ability to expand his/her research into other fields, and will be expected to generate significant synergy effects through collaboration with other researchers.
  • Contribute to management issues for Design & Engineering by Joint Inverse Innovation for Materials Architecture project, Laboratory for Materials and Structures.
  • Contribute to management issues of Institute of Innovative Research and Laboratory for Materials and Structures.
  • For education, give classes for undergraduate students in Japanese and for graduate students in English.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students for their research in Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology.
 Qualifications
  • Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or doctoral degree in related fields.
  • Applicants should have globally notable research achievements and activity in the above research fields.
  • Applicants should be able to supervise and teach students in English.
 Term The contract will end on March 31, 2027.
We may consider a new post after April 1, 2027 based on achievements made during the employment term and a comprehensive review of all other factors. Please contact us for more information.
