 Job Description
  • Construction of inorganic solid materials to realize green and sustainable society by new scientific principles and approaches.
  • Expanding his/her research into other fields, resulting in significant synergy effects through collaboration with other researchers.
  • Contribute to management issues of Institute of Innovative Research and Laboratory for Materials and Structures.
  • For education, give classes for undergraduate students in Japanese and for graduate students in English.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students for their research in Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology.
 Qualifications
  • Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or doctoral degree in related fields.
  • Applicants should have globally notable research achievements and activity in the above research fields.
  • Applicants should be able to supervise and teach students in English.
 Term  Permanent Position
 The Institute has mandatory retirement, requiring employees to retire at age 65.
 Proposed Start Date  April 1, 2024, or the earliest possible date thereafter
