講演テーマ："EUROCODE 8 AND “FLAT-SLAB” BUILDINGS IN SEISMIC AREAS"
(EUROCODE8における地震地域のフラットスラブ建築物の設計法について)
Summary:
The talk will present the general concept and philosophy for the design of RC building in seismic areas adopted by the European normative body of the Eurocodes, and more specifically how it is at present possible to adopt the flat-slab typology within the European a-seismic design code (Eurocode 8). Some modeling and analysis issues, related to this structural typology in connection with the prescription of the Eurocode 8, will be discussed in detail along with some results of recent tests on voided slabs.
